About

Dr. Jang was born in Korea and grew up on the east coast of Canada where she attended veterinary school. She completed a small animal rotating internship at Friendship Hospital for Animals in Washington DC prior to moving to Hawai’i. She has been practicing emergency and critical care medicine ever since. Aside from ECC, her professional interests include neurology, animal welfare, trauma and toxicology.

She is a proud mama to a human toddler, a scruffy terrier named Wingnut and a lazy and forgiving tortoiseshell cat, Iwa. When Dr. Jang is not at work, you will probably find her out in the water, surfing or exploring the world with her daughter.
