At Veterinary Emergency + Referral Center (VERC), we are committed to helping animals in crisis.
In partnership with The Veterinary Care Foundation*, the VERC CARES Fund provides financial assistance to help pets receive necessary veterinary care when their families are experiencing financial hardship.
Our goal is to support treatment for pets with a good medical prognosis so they can return home healthy and continue their lives with the people who love them.
With your support, we can extend medical care even further—ensuring pets receive the treatment they need when it matters most.
*The Veterinary Care Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation that helps veterinary practices fund their discounted and no-charge cases.

Eligibility Requirements
Funds are available for pets treated at VERC.
Eligible pets must receive an examination by one of our veterinarians and have a favorable prognosis.
Patients with chronic or life-limiting conditions, such as diabetes, cancer, congestive heart failure, or elderly pets needing major surgery, are not eligible.
Please note: VERC CARES funds are designed to supplement the cost of care, not cover treatment in full.
